I've come to realize that the best times are finding little scenes like these that make you smile.  A cold morning where the feeling of the warm sun and a little breeze remind you of what being alive should feel like. When the landscape is simple and uncomplicated yet as you stand there it brings a smile to your face and warms your heart.

"Some dreams, are in the night time.
And some seem like yesterday.
But leaves turn brown and fade.
Ships sail away.
You long to say a thousand words but...
Seasons Change"

I start everyday by admiring and marveling over hundreds of photos of other photographers, gaining inspiration and focus, asking questions and leaving words of admiration when possible.

In between shooting yesterday, I was surveying my literally hundreds of embedded catci spines that I'm sporting as a new fashion statement after a recent off trail meeting of the minds, this cactus and myself.  It only hurts when I wear clothing.  I was kind of laughing at the situation as I often pay the price of incurable wanderlust but I pay, willingly.

Hold On Tight To Your Dreams

I found out today one of my shots made it into

I'm in the amazing company of Art Wolfe, Yen Baet, Lars Van De Goor, Hengki Koent Joro, Ralph Nordstrom, Albena Markova and others who's photography has blown me away. Some of the best photography I've ever seen. I'm so honored and frankly a bit choked up...

Never lose your dream
