Parson's Trail

Sycamore Canyon Wilderness is the oldest wilderness area in Arizona. Parsons Trail is located at the lower end of the 56,000 acre wilderness area, reached by traveling north from Cottonwood, AZ.
Parson's trail was not an easy place to access.

A long rutted dirt road to the trail head then a steep climb down the canyon but the hike was well worth the view. The scenery was beautiful. I never encountered another person during my several hour hike here.
